LONNY S. CADES,
a partner at Cohen Seglias Pallas Greenhall & Furman PC, Philadelphia, is well versed in special needs planning and guardianships for families with special needs individuals. His practice also includes the creation, acquisition and sale of many types of businesses, and the formation and qualification of disadvantaged business entity certification including Women’s Business Enterprise, Minority Business Enterprise, and Service Disabled Veteran Owned and 8A status. Mr. Cades has extensive expertise in real estate law and estate planning. He earned his BA from Dickinson College, and his JD and LLM from Villanova University School of Law.
JAMES W. JORDAN, JR.,
is the Executive Director for NAMI Pennsylvania. He has served as Executive Assistant to the Governor of Michigan; Deputy Secretary in the Department of Health for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and Director for the Department of Health and Rehabilitation and the Department of Health and Public Safety in Essex County, NJ and Broward County, FL. During the past 20 years Mr. Jordan has managed a 1,200-bed psychiatric hospital, a 110-bed psychiatric treatment and rehabilitation program, a 330-bed geriatric center, and drug treatment and sexual assault treatment programs. Mr. Jordan established and operated two adult level-2 trauma centers, a pediatric trauma center and numerous other health care and community programs. He holds a Master’s in Clinical Psychology and participated in the Senior Management Program for State and Local Government at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In addition, a scholarship at Nova University was named for Mr. Jordan in recognition of his contributions to health care.
JOSEPH T. KELLEY, III,
a partner at Kelley Partners in the Philadelphia office, focuses his practice on healthcare law and issues of privacy, compliance, regulatory and administrative law. Mr. Kelley has skillfully guided one of the largest behavioral health providers in the US through its day-to-day issues regarding privacy, compliance and regulatory oversight, and serves as compliance and privacy counsel to other behavioral health care providers and businesses. Mr. Kelley received his BA with honors from Tulane University and his JD from Villanova University School of Law, where he distinguished himself in moot court competition.
